My process is to let the story, poem or song come to me. I never force the process. Writing is cathartic for anyone, whether you journal, write poetry, short stories, or novels. It can be torturous or a delight, how ever the muse comes it is unique to each writer. Please drop me a note about your process, and I'll post the best on the site.
Out of the Darkness
The Sozzel the Jongleur series, three books of dark poetry and weird short stories were written when I was critically ill, in pain, and on morphine. During periods of lucidity I wrote all in these three books. Whether the morphine or my dire condition spewed this dark material in a three year time material I'll leave to the reader. I have fully recovered and I'm still writing.
